| Well, no, you are wrong, sometime ago I downloaded San andreas and San Andreas MP, I instaled the downloaded San Andreas and then the MP, and it works. So you don´t need an copy from the original!

you can put skins/mods on your game, but do not modified data folder, because if you modified data you can't enter on samp servers!
